Vice President, HKS Architects

Sheba Ross is a Vice-President at HKS where she creates culturally defined and environmentally driven projects, which reflect her commitment to buildings and the spaces between them. In the past two decades, Sheba’s focus has been master planning the built environment by leveraging the design of the story and the details. She actively engages public participation in projects that revitalize their communities by linking health with the urban realm. Her professional foundation started with a Bachelor of Architecture from India, followed by a Master of Urban Design from the University of Colorado at Denver, both of which she graduated with honors. Her career has a dual character since she received her Architectural practice license in India and her Urban Planning certification in USA. Her innate curiosity has led her to pursue multiple specializations.

As a public speaker, she has addressed the CDC’s Built Environment Working Group and was quoted in the World Green Building Trends 2016 report, “Health and the Growth of Cities” and in Building Green’s Report, “Work Globally, Design Locally.” She was featured in an interview in “Atlanta Woman” and is quoted for her real estate leadership in an article called “Doing Business in Dubai”.

She graduated from ULI Atlanta’s Center for Leadership Class of 2018 and now serves as the chair of the mTAP program. She played a pivotal role in transformative projects like the Healthcare Action Plan for the country of Qatar, the Piedmont Atlanta Hospital and the North Druid Hills campus master plan for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
